TESSA ~4 months old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyMeet Tessa! Tessa is an absolute sweetheart of about 4 months of age. She gives the sweetest kisses and is very polite in her greetings with both dogs and people. She is really starting to enjoy fetch with her people. Tessa's foster mom is a trainer and has been working hard to teach her all the basics! She is cratetrained and doing well with housetraining as long as you take her out on her normal schedule and keep an eye that she doesn't guzzle a lot of water. She also needs to be in a crate just big enough for her to decrease accidents in the crate. She knows sit well and has been introduced to the leash. She can be a little shy in new situations so would do well with a companion dog to show her the ropes and boost her confidence. She has met a ton of dogs and loves to play. She has a nice submissive greeting and isn't overbearing. Tessa would also do fine with people of all ages even young kids as she is very sweet and respectful. She has not met cats yet. Tessa is weighed in at 24 lbs at her 4 month checkup and will be a good sized girl. Who's ready to welcome this sweetheart into their home?Tessa and Louie's puppy journey has been documented in the Facebook Group &ldquoDog Training Made Simple&rdquo. To see their training and more pictures and videos check out the group herehttps://www.facebook.com/groups/DogTrainingMadeSimple/ It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
