I've found my furever family!

~5 years old. Good with older considerate kids and large dogs. Could be good with cats if introduced properly. Howdy! My name's Tags and I might be the German-Shepherd-iest German Shepherd on this entire website! Ok I know I don't have that &ldquoclassic&rdquo black & tan look but that's a GOOD thing because my striking brindle coat makes me STAND OUT! With everything else though I'm pure GSD! I'm aloof &ndash but kindly and well-behaved! &ndash with strangers but I'll stick to your side like glue once I realize you're my owner. I have a good-sized prey drive but I'm so intelligent that my foster mom and dad think I would be ok with cats as long as I'm introduced properly. And of course I get on with kids of all sizes like a champ! I like for there to be a clear hierarchy in my house so I will not become what I've heard is called &ldquoalpha". I will assume the role if there is not a clear leader who is otherwise taking care of things. (I get this way more so if there are other girls like me in the house.)But I'm most authentically GSD in that I absolutely love to work! Give me a job (squirrel-chasing duty search-and-rescue random outdoor scent identifier doorbell proxy &ndash all of these count equally as a job for me!) and I couldn't be happier! I seem to have what I've heard referred to as a &ldquodeep nose&rdquo when I go walking so I would make a great training partner if you wanted to do some more formal training. Otherwise that squirrel-chasing thing is very rewarding!Besides being (let's be honest) strikingly beautiful and of the ultimate GSD disposition I am in great health. I'll keep up with you (more like you'll need to keep up with me) if you like to run or walk but I don't require a great deal of exercise at all (just a couple of normal walks a day) to stay happy and healthy. I don't like for my people to leave me during the day but I take comfort in having my very own crate while they're gone. A great girl like me won't stay available for long!
