(About 2 years old) Good with older considerate children dogs and cats. Needs a companion animal. Summer is a delightful young active dog. We don't know her whole story but do know that a good samaritan was involved in saving her. We think she went to some type of independent person/ home rescue before we got her. Summer is a gorgeous healthy petite dog. We think she is about 2 years old. She LOVES to play. She will go into your toy basket a few times a day and take out lots of lots of toys. She especially loves squeaky toys. She would love to be with a family who loves walking and water. We have rarely seen a shepherd take to water like Summer. She actually jumped into our Koi pond when she first arrived. She loves sitting in the stream after a long walk and crawling into the water tubs in the horse fields. Summer loves to play with both of our male shepherds. She is quite the princess and likes to be the first out the door. She needs a family that will be able to teach her what is acceptable and a family where she can respect you are boss. She is a sweet dog and displays the classic tilting of her head when she is amazed by what she is watching. She LOVES her" people and really thrives on attention and living in a family. She likes other animals and gets along great w/ our inside cat. She does have a pretty good prey drive. She will sit and stare out the window at squirrels and will chase things outside when they run. A younger dog playmate would be part of an ideal home that we would like to see Summer in. We also think that older children would be great with Summer. Summer will fill your home with good fun energy and allow you to be amazed. You will find yourself watching and smiling as she entertains herself by throwing toys up in the air or dropping balls so that they bounce on purpose. She is really lovely. "
