Meet Sequoia! She is a possible Shepherd/Lab mix and weighs around 60 pounds. Sequoia's earlier life was not the best as she was tied to a tree with little room to move around. She hasn't let that dull her spirit at all, though, she is always wearing a smile! Sequoia has adjusted wonderfully to indoor life and has great manners. While she still likes spending time outside and sunbathing, she also loves a soft dog bed or blanket to relax on. She is house and crate trained and loves to eat! She also LOVES to ride in the car. She is getting better with her leash manners but she is strong and needs someone who can handle her size. Sequoia does great with other big, playful dogs but does not do well with small, yappy dogs. She also likes to patrol the yard for lizards and birds so she would not do well in a home with cats or small livestock like chickens. Sequoia knows to stay close to home and has great recall. She is great at alerting you when someone pull into the driveway and is always happy to great visitors. Adopting Sequoia would mean welcoming a loyal, loving, and intelligent companion into your life!
Sequoia has been spayed, microchipped and kept current on vaccines and monthly preventatives. Sequoia's adoption fee will be waived for an approved application. She has been in foster care since October 2024 and needs a loving and dedicated home!
