Skrewball is a 3-year-old German Shepherd mix with a gentle, sweet nature. He’s a sensitive boy who takes a little time to warm up, but once he does, he becomes incredibly loving and attached to his person.
He can be timid and easily startled by new environments or unfamiliar noises, so he’ll need a patient home that can help build his confidence at his own pace. Skrewball prefers a calm, predictable routine and does best in a low-stress environment.
With consistency, reassurance, and a lot of love, he blossoms into a loyal companion who just wants to feel safe and secure.
Skrewball is perfect for someone who understands shy dogs and is willing to give him the time he needs to come out of his shell. Watching him grow more confident will be one of the most rewarding experiences. He also has a very high prey drive. He is a very good dog, but depending on his environment he may need some work to get comfortable. He’s a very good listener.
