WEYMOUTH ~6 months old. Good with older considerate children dogs and cats. Needs a companion animal.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyWeymouth is a happy sweet 6 month old puppy who is looking for a friend. When Weymouth came to me in October he had weird skin spots on his head face & ears. He had rib and hip bones sticking out and had worms! Kid was in bad shape but heartworm negative!! His mama and brother looked the same all were brought into rescue vetted and dewormed.Good food fresh air sunshine and a lotta love and Weymouth now looks great! His skin is all cleared up his eyes & coat are shining he is crate/ house trained his bones don't stick out so much and life is good for this puppy! Weymouth walks nicely on leash but can be a bit shy in a busy/exciting place. Give him a minute to warm up and his puppy curiosity will get the better of him!Weymouth loves to play with ALL sizes of dogs and does well with my cats. He is very social with dogs and really needs a dog that will play with him at his level. Weymouth needs a fenced in backyard with room to run. Once he plays pees and gets his energy out he will come inside and settle down with a toy. He's crated at night and when I leave with no issues. I want a home where someone can give him a potty break around lunchtime so he doesn't have to hold it 8 hrs during the day AND at night. He knows sit come wait and stay commands. Just don't expect him to hold them very long he is a puppy with a short attention span!So who is up for this sweet shy boisterous puppy?! He still needs training but the hard stuff is already behind him and he LOOKS great! Please note: it is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
