I've found my furever family!

SAMANTHA ~1 1/2 years old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlySamantha is a gorgeous small stature girl. When I first met Samantha she would not let me touch or pet her. She hid behind the gentleman who was keeping her at his house. He was helping her until he could find an appropriate home. Her prior home history is sketchy but she definitely does not trust humans in the first meet and greet or second or third. In fact it took an entire week before she allowed me to love on her on my terms. Now Samantha is my shadow. She does not want to leave my side and is over the top affectionate. She is still leary if my husband but is starting to trust. She is very smart and we have worked on some commands. She is great on a leash and is food motivated. She loves other dogs and this has been one way I have been able to get her into Lowe's and Home Depot with confidence. She follows the other dogs lead. She is submissive and will do fine with an alpha dog.With patience and love I believe Samantha's fear of people will diminish. But she absolutely needs to have a family that is willing to give her time and lots of love.She loves riding in cars peanut butter Kong's and belly rubs and sleeping by her owners side.
