Ruger is one amazing pup! He is smart and caring. He is one of the most friendly German Shepard we have ever experienced. Ruger comes to us after we met his previous own that was in desperate need of help. We took Ruger in temporarily, which later turned into an unexpected permanent situation. Ruger is amazing with our autistic daughter, pugs and cats. He loves to snuggle and be close to people. He is crate trained and listens well. If you let him, Ruger loves to sleep in your bed, even though he is very comfortable in his crate at night. Ruger’s only opportunity is with new people around those that deems his family. He will hover and want to be nearby to ensure everything is going well.
Rehoming is needed as our daughter requires more in-home support therapies and we are struggling to find providers that are not afraid of large dogs.
