~2 years old. Good with kids dogs and cats. Good for seniors/elderly. Good with farm animals.Glatt came to me as a stray. The shelter was so impressed with him that they called GSRA to make sure he would get a perfect home because that is what GSRA is all about! Glatt walked into my farm he greeted all four dogs looked at me to say "Let's go play." Off he went running the pastures with my little Kitzel close behind. He ran and ran just like a Gazelle. Consequently I named him Glatt which is German for sleek.Glatt is perfectly content to stay in the house when I am gone. He hangs out with the other dogs outside if he chooses. It took him about three days to figure out the doggie door. He sleeps all night and has never had an accident. When introduced to the farm animals he barked and walked away from them. Now he stands by the fence gate until I finish chores. He understands several German commands. He is very patient and so willing to please. I asked him to crate once and he obediently walked into the crate. Glatt is such a good fellow I do not crate him at all. He sleeps on a bed in my room with the other dogs. He eats free choice. He is very polite and waits his turn. Glatt needs to gain 21-30 Pounds. He is very thin. His coat is glimmering and his eyes are bright. Glatt is so happy. What a fine dog who deserves the very best forever home.
