I've found my furever family!

RICKY ~ 8 years old. Good with dogs. Kids TBD.GSRA Adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyFOSTER TO ADOPTRicky is a very happy boy always wagging his tail. As a first time foster this boy is an absolute joy. Ricky is exceptionally praise and/or treat motivated. He likes nothing more than to hear &lsquogood boy'. Ricky is house trained and is a dream to walk on a leash. He will let you know by whining to go outside. He will not be a runner yet but does enjoy a brisk walk. He loves everyone he meets on our walks. He is fine with both big small dogs and cats. He will avoid barking or aggressive dogs. He is reactive to squirrels but is easily correctable. Either on a walk or in the home Ricky looks to you for direction and will follow you everywhere. Ricky is a very smart and loving boy and wants nothing more than to be by your side. Ricky receives a treat at bedtime and sleeps next to me on his dog bed each night. He loves a routine! Ricky has free roam of the house when I go to work and usually just sleeps in one of his dog beds. When he wants to play he will VERY gently grab my hand by his mouth or nudge me. This gentle boy is just now learning how to play with humans. Right now Ricky is underweight by 20lbs but each day his energy level and playfulness increases. Ricky does well in the car but will whine occasionally until he gets comfortable. He is a very gentle and sensitive boy. His many facial expressions and wag of his tail will melt your heart. Ricky will shower his family with appreciation and love for giving him a new lease on life.
