I've found my furever family!

RANDOLPH DUKE ~11 months old. Good with dogs. Kids TBD. Not good with cats.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SCRandolph is a dog who loves life and won't let his rough past keep him down! Though we don't know much of his history we do know he did not have much consistency in his former homes and was treated more as property than a member of the family.Things have changed for this pup and he has had a chance to show his goofy personality and good natured soul. Randolph is a happy go lucky dog who is truly a family dog and just wants to be with his people - wherever you are he will be! He his perfectly content sitting in your office while you do work laying in the kitchen while you cook or snuggling with you on the couch while you catch up on trash tv.Randolph is still puppy age and therefore very playful - thankfully he has a dog companion here in my home and they keep each other occupied much of the day! Randolph is very courteous of other dogs is quick to be submissive to gain a playmate. He shares toys and treats with no issues and shows no signs of resource guarding.Randolph is house trained is not a chewer and is very respectful of your home and belongings - he does know what his toys are though and will DESTROY a dog toy with a squeaker - you have been warned! He is the best sleeping buddy and and snuggler.Randolph LOVES to go outside - he does good in car rides - especially if he can stick his head out the window! He still pulls a little but nothing severe - he has a harness that works pretty well. I have not run with him but have a feeling he would be a great running buddy. He also loves water.Randolph is crate trained and can be left up to 6 hours. When I first started fostering him he would cry for 30 minutes or so but within two weeks he has improved nearly 100% and goes in with no problem with no whining. Due to his past he has separation anxiety and this was not unexpected behavior.Randolphs weird fact: he has a licking fascination...I've seen him lick table legs aluminum posts blankets the weirdest things... he's unique!PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year old to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
