RAMBO ~2 years old. Good with older considerate children and dogs and dog savvy cats. Needs a companion animal.GSRA adopts to residents living in VA NC and SCHi my name is Rambo. I am a handsome young guy with plenty of energy. I was dropped off at a shelter by my family for no reason. But that's okay they were not nice to me and it has made me scared of quick hand movements. I am trying very hard to trust people men are harder for me but in time with love and patience my bad memories will fade and be replaced by the joy and love I receive from my new family. I am good with big and small male and female dogs dog savvy cats and older children. I can climb chain link fence and this trick is apparently not appreciated. I would love to sleep in your bed if you let me but I'm OK sleeping on the floor next to you in my own bed. I'm also crate trained but my foster's think I'm some guy named &ldquoHoudini&rdquo because I have broken out of their wire crate a few times even after they reinforced it so now they have a heavy-duty crate that I cannot get out of. Do you have room in your heart and home for me?From Rambo's fosters:Rambo has a sweet soul wrapped inside a timid body. He is very sensitive and will need a family committed to providing correction in a calm and encouraging way. He cannot handle a disciplinarian approach. He seems more comfortable with females than males but we are continuing to work with him to build his confidence and trust. He has been fine with other foster and resident dogs but gets nervous if dogs start to wrestle play with each other even if he is not near them so for now we think dogs living with Rambo need to be more of a companion and not a rough player in fact a good companion who can help guide Rambo would be a benefit. He would be fine as an only dog if people are home most of the time. A minimum 5 foot fenced yard needs to be privacy or metal so that he cannot climb. He loves to go for walks and &ldquozoom&rdquo off-leash in your fenced yard. He is house trained a good car rider and quiet. Once he trusts you he is very affectionate you can tell he was completely starved of any positive human interaction prior to rescue and is making up for lost time now. Something about this boy pulls at your heart strings.More about RamboGood with Dogs Good with Older/Considerate Kids Only Good with Adults and Good with Dog savvy Cats.
