PRINCESS ELSA ~7 years old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD. GSRA Adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only"And they all lived happily ever after." After very harsh beginnings that will be the perfect ending to Elsa's story. Picked up as an emaciated stray covered in dirt and bruises Elsa was frozen both physically and mentally at the back of her kennel in the shelter. We had no idea of the gentle loving princess trapped inside until we got her to her foster home cleaned her up and gave her lots of good food. Within a few weeks Elsa blossomed and now happily greets everybody she meets with a kiss.Elsa and her older foster brother and younger foster sister enjoy playing around in the fenced yard before relaxing indoors. Cool mornings are her favorite time to take short leisurely walks around the neighborhood sniffing trees and grass and making new friends. Inside the house Elsa will follow her people like any good herding dog and then curl up nearby once folks are settled. She is comfortable both in and out of her crate. Elsa will need a home with very few steps since she has hip issues that may worsen as she gets older. Elsa is learning a few basic commands but is overall very well behaved.Elsa's happily ever after family would want to have her around them as much a possible. She would be a perfect travel buddy as she does well riding in the car or great company for home bodies. She would love to sit outside and watch kids at after school practices or just hang out under the trees with you while you read a book. All she asks in return is a calm voice a gentle touch and a safe soft place to lay her head each night. Are you "the happily every after" ending to Elsa's fairy tale?Elsa will be spayed prior to adoption.
