I've found my furever family!

PIPPI ~8 months old. TBD if good with kids dogs and cats.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Hi Potential Adopter! Are you ready for a full GSD personality in a smaller GSD package? Look no further than my bio! I'm Pippi the puppy who is just 8 months old and eager to begin life with a family. My foster mom says I'd love to bond with a human(s) but before GSRA took me in my experience was to roam all day in the countryside by my lonesome (and help myself to a couple chickens--oops!). Only recently did I even start coming indoors to sleep at night! So I'm studying as much as I can about people packs and appropriate behaviors while I adapt to life as a civilized canine. I have been learning to walk nicely on lead to potty outdoors and to greet without puppy-predictable jumping--the next step is to soften my impulse to be alpha toward other dogs. I've received compliments on how quickly I pick up on things during training just as my breed would indicate! My ideal fur-ever home would include a gentle GSD-savvy human maybe another confident canine or two lots of room to tear around ('cause I'm energetic and lightning fast!) and no free-range chickens. PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
