Meet Kia, a beautiful black German Shepherd looking for a new forever home.
Kia would do best in a home without small children. She has some anxiety and becomes stressed around young kids, especially infants (she is sensitive to crying). She is also afraid of storms and fireworks.
She may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once she does, she is incredibly sweet, loyal, and loving.
About Kia:
Up to date on vaccinations
House-trained
Crate-trained (also does well with free roam)
Good with select other dogs
Loves being outdoors
Enjoys swimming
Kia has previously lived with multiple dogs and has gotten along well with them.
This decision has not been easy. With a growing family (including a 2-year-old and a newborn), her anxiety has increased, and we want what’s best for her—a calm, stable environment where she can feel safe and relaxed.
