NAIDA ~3-4 years old. Good with older considerate children. Good with large dogs and farm animals. Not good with female dogs small dogs or cats. GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only. Hi my name is Naida and I would love for you to give me a forever home. I am told that I am a small gsd girl but you should see how fast I can run and how strong I am - so I think size is not so important. I love to play with my toys I am learning to play fetch and I love to chase the pup next door. We have fence races and even though I have to weave in and out of shrubs and bushes I am still the fastest. I like to jump in the pond at my foster home to cool off the fish get a little annoyed with me but I leave them alone. I really like my foster brother Roamer but he is a little grumpy and wont play with me. We go for a walk together every day and I give him lots of kisses so he will like me more. I am a little picky about my doggie friends so I really need a yard of my own to run.Note from Naida's foster MomNaida is a great girl she has plenty of energy but will happily hang out on the couch in the evening playing with her toys. She is an alpha female so would do best in a home either as an only dog or with a calm submissive large male. She is a little bossy and likes to get her own way with other pups. Naida walks well on leash and is almost completely non-reactive to other dogs that bark as we pass their yards. At this time I would say that Naida is not a dog park kind of pup so having her own yard is a must. She is still a little timid and does not like it when bicycles and skate boards pass us while walking. She is more comfortable with women than men but once she gets to know you she is calm and happy. Naida has no separation anxiety and will quietly lay outside waiting to be let in. Naida has Pannus but has functioning eyesight. She still needs to complete heartworm treatment. Naida is enrolled in obedience training and is learning quickly. Naida still has some puppy manners (mouthing and jumping) that we are working on and so no small children for this pup. Naida is a quiet girl and rarely barks.
