I've found my furever family!

Murphy - 1 1/2 years old. Good with dogs kids cats and farm animals. Needs a companion animal. GSRA Adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyMeet Murphy the adorable and oh so friendly German Shepherd. A kindly couple rescued him as a puppy and as he grew he became quite active and realized he was a little more than they could handle. They reached out to us and thankfully had a spot open and now we are going to find him the perfect home. Murphy loves everybody especially children. He loves to sleep with my grandchildren when they visit. He is completely house trained and sleeps all night on a doggie bed in my bedroom. He enjoys early morning walks in the woods helps me feed and groom my horses(I brush he barks). Murphy is young and he does chew but is easily corrected and will soon outgrow that.Murphy kennels quietly but a crate petrifies him he does not like to be shut in. My ideal home for Murphy would be a home with a large fenced yard. It would be nice if his human was home during the day because he thrives on love and attention. I think he would do better with a companion dog. He would never challenge another dog he is docile toward them. He is active and needs a lot of exercise.So if you are looking for a loving yet young and active German Shepherd Murphy is waiting.
