MOSES ~4 years old. Good with older considerate children dogs and cats.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyHello my name is Moses and I am looking for a new forever family. I had a great family that I lived with from a baby but my mommy got sick and was having a hard time taking care of my energy filled self so she decided that she needed to let me go so that GSRA could find me a new forever family. I miss my mommy but try very hard to get along with all the dogs and the "terror" Siamese kitten at my foster moms. I love to make people happy take me for a walk and throw a ball and I will be your friend for life (a treat or two will help me love you more and shower you with kisses). From Foster Mom:Moses is a very sweet submissive male gsd. On the small side but his personality makes up for his smaller stature. Moses is cautious/protective and likes to decide when he wants to make friends with you. Allow him the time he needs to be comfortable and in no time he will be your shadow. He is very patient with all personalities of dog definitely submissive to other dominant dogs he tries to be more dominant to a submissive dog but is easily corrected. He needs to work on his socialization skills and obedience training is highly recommended. He is a decent leash walker excellent car rider and LOVES his crate. His crate is his "safe place" any time he feels scared or gets in trouble he puts himself into his crate for a short time out. He sleeps in his crate at night with no problems. He has a high prey drive and will chase any squirrels out of the yard. Although he is fine with cats in his home he would chase a cat outside given the opportunity. Because of Mo ses' laid back personality he would be okay for a newbie sheppie family.
