I've found my furever family!

MINX ~3 years old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only. Minx here! I've been doing a lot of neat things since I came into the rescue so I thought I'd update my profile to let you know. First of all I'm a spunky little dog topping out at about 41-50 Pounds so I can live happily in an apartment. I love people but I'm not clingy.I'm pretty smart and I've learned a few commands including how to crawl and how to bow. I know how to sit and down and I'll come when you call me (well mostly so we'll have to work on that some). I love treats and take them very gently so keeping up my training will be easy. I'm missing a few front teeth but that just gives me a lopsided grin.I'm a low maintenance quiet gal. I'm happy to sleep in my open crate while you're working from home. Or I can just hang out while you're away at work. I'm house trained so no worries there.I'm easy-going and easy on a leash. I love to play ball but you'll need two because I'm not going to bring it back yet but you can teach me how to do that! I'm OK with a dog-savvy cat but we'll need a slow managed introduction and if your cat will correct me I'll behave very well. I like other dogs but if they get rambunctious and get in my face I'll tell them to back off. I currently live with three other dogs males and females and we get along great. I don't need a companion dog however if you have a calm playful dog or a senior that needs exercise I know we could be great friends.One of the things I think is pretty cool (but the humans are not happy about) is I climb fences! Yep. I can climb a wire or chain link fence! So I'm going to need a privacy fence or a wrought iron fence at least 5 feet tall. If you don't have a yard that's okay too as long as you'll take me for a run. But I can't go to dog parks because I'll just climb the fence - there are just so many great smells on the other side of a fence!How about it? Are you ready for a nice companion?
