~1-2 years old. A GREAT dog! Good with Kids dogs and cats. Needs a companion animal. Minnie really is a &ldquoone of a kind&rdquo Shepherd dog. We think she was an abuse case. When Minnie was rescued we were told she was one of the thinnest dogs the rescue has ever taken in somewhere in the high 30 lb range. She could barely stand up. Minnie is now a 60 lb female with lots of good energy and huge playful heart. She will not be a huge dog but maybe could gain another 5- 7 lbs. She's a very home based young female who has a high activity level and does need some training as most of the rescues do. She's a smart girl and an athletic playful dog so we feel she'd do best in a home with an active doggie playmate. Minnie loves sticks and has learned to steal sticks from our male Shepherds. She's fearless confident and shows no signs of being beaten a happy-go-lucky dog with a bounce in her step and heart. Minnie seems great w/ children and is very good with our inside kitty cat. Minnie sleeps by our bed at night and has become really pretty well house trained and to help this we restrict her water intake after 8pm. Minnie has learned to ride in the car and is now beginning to like to travel. She loves companionship and does not have an aggressive bone in her body. She's not easily flustered just a young dog that need direction and lots of love and attention which she greatly deserves. Minnie has gorgeous pensive eyes and her coat and body will bloom as her good nutrition continues. She does settle down after exercise. Consistent exercise will be important to her at least at her young age. If you are home a lot and can provide a dedicated active life&hellip Our Minnie dog may make your home complete with her positive loving outlook on life. She is a wonderful dog that will bring the right family a lot of joy. She can't help it with her joyful spirit.
