I've found my furever family!

MERLIN ~8 monthsold. Good with dogs and older considerate kids.Cats TBD. Needs companion animal.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.We were asked to help sweet Merlin by the wonderful shelter staff because he was completely shut down and terrified while there. He was named Merlin because he tried to disappear into the corner of his kennel. Fast forward a few weeks and Merlin is learning to love life. He loves to play with his foster brothers and sisters he loves splashing around in the water he's good with large and small dogs male and female. He has a submissive personality. He would likely be OK with dog savvy cats but has not been tested to date. Merlin is a little shy but does warm up quickly. He will need a confident dog friend in his forever home. Merlin is calm and gentle and is somewhat of an old soul. Merlin is house and crate trained an excellent car rider and learning to be a confident leash walker and will need a family committed to continue his socialization training.PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
