~ 5 months old. Good with older considerate children dogs and cats.Happy happy happy! That's what my boy Max is. You see Max is not your typical rescue pup. We know all about his young life & he does not have a sad teer-jerker beginning. After getting Max & his brother their parents realized that splitting up the pups would better allow both dogs to grow and mature into the great individuals they are destined to be.So Max came to his new foster home joining my 3 older female GSDs and my young female foster Trudy. I think Max quickly forgot about the brother he left behind and thoroughly liked running & playing with Trudy. Max is very well-behaved for a five month old. He knows come sit and stay commands. He walks OK on leash but could use additional training. If I am sitting on the couch & get up Max quickly gets up & takes my place on the couch. He is such a funny boy.Max does have one habit that we are working to correct: he jumps on me whenever I let him out of the kennel or let him inside. Based on the size of Max's paws I think he will be a big boy. He has beautiful long hair. And what makes Max stand out is his one ear up one ear down. Trudy has now moved to her adoptive family Max has adjusted well. He's definitely not afraid of my big girls & has been running & playing fetch getting the ball when he can.Max is house & crate trained. He eats in his crate & sleeps in his crate at night.I think the ideal family for Max is one that has experience training a pup that will provide plenty of exercise and that will give Max the attention that he needs. I think he will do well with or without another dog.
