Meet Maverick – Your New Co-Pilot in Life!
Maverick is a classic black-and-tan beauty with a heart as steady as his name suggests. At about 2 years old, he is a sweet, gentle boy who is a very quick learner. Maverick now heels well and knows several basic commands. He loves to learn and aims to please.
Maverick is friendly, confident, and has that easygoing charm that wins people over in an instant. He did great during his assessment, happily allowing full-body handling and loving every head scratch. He’s polite with other dogs and showed calm, respectful behavior around a large male during his dog test. He even had a quick visit with the shelter cats—after one hissed at him, Maverick respectfully backed away and decided feline drama wasn't for him!
He loves his walks. But, he’ll need some encouragement in playing fetch or in playing with toys in general. Head scratches are his thing at the moment.
He’s social, adaptable, and ready for some structure, affection, and freedom to stretch those long legs. No signs of separation anxiety, no drama—just a good boy looking for a soft place to land.
