MARCUS ~10 years old. Good with older considerate children dogs and cats.Good for seniors/elderly.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyLet me introduce this sweet boy Marcus who is also lovingly known as Boo. He loves playing with his toys and his favorite so far is a stuffed teddy bear who I might mentionis still in one piece. Lol He likes for you to play tug-of-war with him or toss it for a little game of fetch. One of the 1st things he does when I get up or come home from work is go and get a toy. Marcus is a 10-year-old sweetheart. He loves being with you and is a true Velcro pup. Now don't let his age scare you away because this pup still has some pep in his step. Are you looking for a walking partner well this fellow LOVES going for walks. He gets so happy when it's time to go. And this boy loves to go for car rides. He has an adorable &lsquopurr-like' ruff when he talks to you. <3Marcus has free reign 24/7 with my female pup and has done well. He gets along well with her. They enjoy hanging out and going for walks but he doesn't care to play with her but there is a big age difference between them. Marcus was tested with cats (check out his video) and passed with flying colors.Marcus was nervous when he first arrived with me. Understandable since his whole world was turned upside down. He was in a lot of pain when I got him and it broke my heart. It took a couple of days for him to start to be comfortable with me but he was always so gentle. A trip to the vet found he has somearthritison his spine but withsome meds and within a few days you would never believe it was the same pup. He will require his meds daily. Now that Marcus is feeling better he is friendly when meeting new people.Marcus would do great in a home where someone was home a lot. He loves being with his family. He would do fine with a companion if the dog wasn't looking for a playmate. He enjoys going outside but wouldn't require a fence though it would be nice.So do you think you have room in your heart for this sweet boy!
