I've found my furever family!

~6 years old. Good with older considerate children dogs and cats. Apartment appropriate.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyMeet Lilah! We realize she's not very shepherd-like but after being picked up as a stray after Hurricane Florence and nobody came to claim her our GSRA volunteer just couldn't leave her:-( We know nothing of her past but that's ok because it's her future that we are going to make great! Lilah is so sweet and just wants to be close to her family she may be a bit cautious at first but once she knows you she loves you! She loves to get petted and rubbed and will paw you if she feels that she is not getting enough loving. Lilah hasn't really shown any interest in playing with toys but she is still adapting and learning her new environment. She is great walking on the leash and has never pulled. She will stop to alert you when there are people or dogs that are walking near you. Alerting you entails stopping and staring. Do you think your lap has a little extra room for a sweet girl like Lilah!
