I've found my furever family!

~LENNY ~3 - 4 years old Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyHello world! My name is Lenny and I am one of the sweetest and loving dogs you will ever meet. I was picked up as an emaciated stray with a bad wound on my elbow...it is speculated that I was attacked by another dog. (It is rough trying to survive on your own). Despite the fact that I was in a lot of pain I was very friendly and affectionate to anybody who came to see me. GSRA has taken me in and they said I will find a great home with my very own people and not have to worry about battling it out on the streets anymore.I am a handsome boy with a pretty black and cream coat. I am about 3-4 years old (best guess). I have a soft and gentle expression which matches my personality perfectly. I am about 71-80 Pounds now. I just adore people. I love a good pet on the head and attention of any kind. I am a fairly quiet boy and I don't bark too much. I have not shown much interest in toys but my foster mom is hoping I will figure that out. I am a pretty mellow guy I like to play a bit and then just chill out and be near my people. I just love everybody.I am very eager to please! I do not have a good grasp of commands but am willing and eager to learn especially if treats are involved! I do know how to sit and am pretty good at coming back when called. My foster mom says I have a lot of potential and will enjoy having a family that will spend time helping me develop my basic obedience commands. I am housebroken and crate trained!I get along well with the other dogs in the house. I enjoy playing with them and engaging in a game of chase around the yard. I seem to be a submissive male and back down quickly if one of the girls corrects me. The shelter said I seem indifferent to cats I can be retested if you happen to have a resident feline. I am a very easy going dog....content to go on walks or adventures if you so inclined but equally happy to just hang out and keep you company and watch a good movie. I am not a demanding guy I just want someone to love me!I need to be treated for heartworms but I am ready to start meeting people and hopefully getting my forever home lined up!
