Quiet and gentle-natured
Accompanies me to work (a slow-paced, quiet environment with people coming and going)
Walks well on a leash with a prong collar
Excellent running companion — can easily run 4–5 miles
Sleeps soundly in her own bed on the floor at night
I have never crated her
Can be left alone for 4–8 hours occasionally and does well in my apartment
Does not chew on things
Loves toys
Extremely food motivated
Alpha female — can be selective with certain dogs, especially other large females. She would do best as the only pet in the home.
Playful and energetic
Enjoys cuddling on her own terms
Displays some resource guarding with bones (and occasionally toys)
Loyal and protective — may bark or growl at passersby on occasion, though this is not a daily behavior
Would thrive in a home with a confident, experienced leader, ideally someone familiar with German Shepherds
While I’ve never had her off-leash, I believe she would love access to a fenced-in yard to run and play.
