Meet Kylo – Your Loyal, Goofy Shadow
Looking for a true companion who’s as content sunbathing in the yard as he is walking by your side? Meet Kylo, a 4-year-old male German Shepherd with a heart full of loyalty, a head full of smarts, and just the right amount of goofiness to keep you smiling.
Kylo is everything you love about the breed: loyal, protective (when needed), calm, and incredibly intelligent. He’s trained in Dutch commands, walks beautifully on a leash, and thrives with structure and routine. He's also a great communicator—this boy has a lot to say, and he’s not shy about telling you when it's time for some backyard sunbathing or a chew session with his favorite bone. He’s a “simple man,” happy with the little things.
The Ideal Home for Kylo:
Kylo would do best as the only dog in a quiet, structured home—ideally with someone who has experience with German Shepherds and understands their unique mix of intelligence and sensitivity. He can get along with very calm female dogs, but he’s happiest when the spotlight is on him (and he isn’t shy about asking for it).
Due to recent changes in his environment, Kylo has begun experiencing seizures, which seem to be worsened by stress and overstimulation. His current home includes other dogs and a new baby, and despite our best efforts, the high-energy environment has proven to be too much for him. He has also recently shown reactivity toward the other male dog in the home. Because of these changes and out of concern for everyone's safety, we're making the incredibly hard decision to find him a home better suited to his needs.

We’ve had Kylo since he was a puppy, and this is not a decision we’ve made lightly. He’s a deeply loved member of our family, and we’re committed to finding him a home where he can thrive, feel safe, and get the calm attention he deserves.
