KILI ~4 1/2 years old. Good with considerate children 15 years or older and dogs. Good with seniors/elderly. Not good with cats.GSRA Adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyKili is one of the most loving dogs you could ever ask for. He is sweet affectionate smart and loves being with his family. He has so much love in him and wants so much to please. All he wants in return is someone to love him. When I'm sitting he will gently put his front paws in my lap and lean over so he can be loved on. Melts my heart every time. He is also a big (well medium size) lap dog. When I'm on the couch he will come up and lay down across my lap. He would love to find a family who wants a pup to cuddle with. Kili would do well in a home with a calm laid back dog or as an only dog if someone was home a lot. Kili loves to play with his toys. He loves for you to throw them so he can run after them or play a little tug of war. He enjoys being outside going for walks hikes etc and I think he would even enjoy going for a jog. He is allowed to free roam the house with my other dogs and haven't shown any signs of being destructive. Kili likes to ride and will happily jump into the car to go but he seems to get a bit anxious. He doesn't get car sick but he needs the window down a bit so he can feel the wind. I mean really who doesn't like to feel the wind in your face. :-) Kili was tested with a cat a couple of times and was curious but didn't show signs of aggression. He would require a very slow intro with cats. Because of this and since he does have some prey drive I wouldn't recommend a home with cats. He has done okay with older children who approached him in a calm gentle manner but can be a bit defensive when they run up to him stomp at him etc. Because of this I wouldn't recommend a home with children under the age of 15. Kili was picked up as a stray so not much is known about his life. My guess is that he didn't get much love. He has so much love inside and wants or should I say needs to feel loved. Because of the need he can become possessive of his family. My guess is that he is probably afraid of losing them. Because of this he would need a family who is willing to continue working on positive reinforcement training with him. He is smart willing to please and is food motivated so it makes training easier. He can also be a little stubborn but he just needs someone who is consistent. Kili is a wonderful boy who has lots of love to give. So if you're looking for a pup who wants to cuddle &ndash he may be the one you're looking for.
