Kara is a 6-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix who was recently adopted, but sadly, she isn't compatible with cats. She's incredibly smart, playful, and full of personality. She knows a wide range of commands, is crate and potty trained, and is gentle with children. She loves walks, car rides, and being part of daily life.
She does have some separation anxiety after losing her previous home of six years, so she’d do best with a dog companion and a yard to run in. She can be vocal—often barking for attention—but it's something that can be and is currently being worked on with patience and consistency.
Kara is a loving, loyal dog who wants nothing more than to be part of an active, cat-free home. Her current family is devastated to rehome her but determined to find her the perfect match.
