~2 1/2 years old. Good with Kids Dogs and Cats. Needs a companion animalMeet Josie!!!! She was picked up as a stray in Hoke County and we really don't know much about her but we think she had either been kept in an outside pen or had been wandering around for a while. She does not crate well and doesn't like to be confined in general. She is a little socially awkward but she learns quickly by watching her foster brother and sister. She has quickly become accustomed to being an inside girl and is doing well with her house training. Even though she acted like she had never seen a leash she quickly overcame her fear of it and does pretty well on leash now. She is a very sweet girl and is very smart. I predict she is going to make some lucky family an wonderful companion.Unfortunately Josie is heartworm positive and will begin treatment end of May.
