I've found my furever family!

JAKE ~1.5 years old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBD. Needs companion animal.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Jake came to us after being picked up as a stray. The shelter took great care of him but the noise was very traumatic for him so GSRA swooped in and got him out and into a quiet foster home as quickly as possible. Jake has the very unusual blue coloring for a GSD which basically means the portions of his coat that would generally be black are a smokey grey. He's a lovely young pup who still has a lot of puppy in him. He is shy when first meeting people but warms up quickly. He's a dog's dog and loves to run wrestle and play with his foster siblings. He's an excellent leash walker good car rider crate trained and house trained. Jake sleeps quietly all night on a dog bed in the bedroom. He is relatively quiet and non-reactive to other dogs on leash. He is still quite mouthy and will jump up when he gets excited. He loves to play with toys. Because of Jake's lack of confidence and his need to &ldquofollow&rdquo other dogs he will need a high energy playful companion in is forever home. He's fine with male and female dogs large and small. A fenced yard is required as he may be a flight risk while getting comfortable in his new home. Jake is very smart and easily trainable. He is treat motivated. This boy is AWESOME everyone that meets him falls in love with him.
