HAWKEYE ~2 years old. Good with dogs. Kids and cats TBDGSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyHello there my name is Hawkeye and I'm a beautiful little black and cream female! I'm just as sweet as they come. I am about two years old and weigh about 51-60 Pounds! A perfect size if I do say so myself. I came to the rescue after being picked up as a stray so not much is known about my background. I had a damaged eye that could not be saved so it was removed when I had my vetting. My other eye is a little cloudy but I see just fine. I'll let my foster mom explained about that.I am a happy little dog and very eager to please. I am extremely food motivated. I will run up to you and sit right in front of you and wait patiently for a treat. I love attention and just like to be near my people. I am a playful girl. I like tennis balls pinecones sticks you name it I'm in! I have the greatest little smile and I always look like I'm winking because of my missing eye.I am a bit nervous when meeting new dogs but once I figure out they are my friend I am eager to play! I got along well with other playful dogs of both genders but would prefer not to be with a dominant dog. I seem to have a bit of prey drive so I need a home without any kitties.I am housebroken and crate trained and walk fairly well on a leash!I am eager to find a new family to share my life with! If you think I might be the one you're looking for please meet me soon. You will not be disappointed. From foster mom:Hawkeye is a delightful little dog! She's a medium size female and has beautiful coloring. She is very happy and playful dog. The vet determined that the cloudiness in her eye is due to corneal lipid deposits. We have changed her diet to see if we can get a reduction in the deposits. She is also going to be seen by an eye specialist to see if there's anything else that can be done. She gets along just fine and does not seem to have any major vision problems at this point.Hawkeye is going to be a great addition to some lucky family!
