Meet Frasier--Your Future BFF!
Looking for a loyal sidekick with devilishly good looks? Say hello to Frasier – an 8-month-old, jet-black German Shepherd puppy with a heart as big as his ears! Frasier is a bit of a shy guy at first, but once he gives you a few polite sniffs and decides you're cool, you'll unlock his cuddly, affectionate side. He loves attention, is learning to enjoy toys, and will happily settle on a rug with a Benebone like he’s settling in with a good book.
He’s a smart cookie who’s already working on his “Sit,”“Look,” and "Down" commands, thanks to his love of treats and praise. A basic obedience course would be a great bonding adventure – and he’s more than ready to be teacher’s pet! Frasier is still a pup, so walks are exciting (read: he might pull a little), but his leash manners are getting better every day in his foster home. He’s an active guy who’ll need regular walks and playtime to keep his brain and body happy.
What Frasier loves:
• Head scritches (confirmed!) and belly rubs (the shelter staff said he loved them but let him invite you first!)
• Playing with doggy friends after a proper intro
• Hanging out with a chew toy
• Being told he’s a good boy (because he is!)
He’s crate trained, housebroken, and even lets you know when he needs a potty break. He currently lives with other dogs and a dog-savvy cat, and while he’s still learning kitty etiquette, he’s doing great with controlled exposure. A home with another playful dog would be ideal for him – especially one that can help show him the ropes.
Because of his size and energy, Frasier would do best with older/taller children and needs a fenced yard to safely explore and zoom around. Frasier is fully vaccinated and was recently neutered. Once he recovers from that procedure then he'll be ready to trot into his fur-ever home – could that be with you?
