Goose is a 2½-year-old spayed German Shepherd with the biggest heart you’ll ever meet. She is incredibly sweet, gentle, and loves with her whole soul. She truly wouldn’t hurt a fly. She may put on a tough act by barking at other dogs or unfamiliar people, but it’s all talk—once she has the chance to meet them, she settles in and shows her loving, goofy personality.
She can take a little time to warm up to new people, especially men, but with patience, kindness, and a few treats, she comes around and forms incredibly strong bonds. Once you’re part of her circle, she’ll love you with everything she has.
Goose is an active, energetic girl who will thrive with someone who has the time and dedication to give her plenty of exercise, enrichment, and attention. She loves being involved in whatever you’re doing and wants nothing more than to be with her people.
She is potty trained, though she does best when someone is paying attention to her cues and keeping her on a consistent routine.
More than anything, Goose deserves a family who will be patient as she settles in and who understands that beneath her bark is one of the kindest, most loving dogs you’ll ever know. She has so much love to give, and once she trusts you, she’ll be your most loyal companion.
