Fifer is a very loving dog who just wants to be close to you. She gets very excited around family and friends and loves to greet you. She can be hyper when greeting her loved ones and we sometimes call her “hyper-Fifer.” She has been raised as an indoor dog and has some anxiety when being left or let outside on her own. Fifer would love a home where she could receive lots of attention and belly rubs from her owners. She currently sleeps on a dog bed in the bedroom, which she does well with. I think Fifer likes to think of herself as a big puppy and would love to be able cuddle with you. Fifer has also enjoyed going for jogs and runs, she does get excited and can pull every once in a while but she doesn’t pull as much if she’s running with you- which also helps her with her hyperactivity. Fifer would love someone to be active with and to go on rides with you. Fifer is house trained and knows basic commands like sit and stay and even knows how to shake your hand. Fifer might need a minute to trust someone new but if you offer her a toy or treat she will be your best friend. Her current owners have small toddlers who she’s always been good to but she would probably prefer a family with no kids or older kids who can play with her and give her attention. She can be unsure of other animals at first. She hasn’t been around lots of other dogs but she has been good with calm small dogs in the past. When she is home and inside with her family she is very calm and cuddly. She happiest when she around the people she loves.
