I've found my furever family!

DILLY ~9-10 months old. Good with older considerate children and large dogs. Not good with small dogs or cats.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Dilly is a sweet active 9-11 month old shepherd mix. She loves hanging by her foster mom and has tried to trip me a few times because she hovers so close. She loves playing with toys going for rides and running through the woods. She plays with other big older dogs but gets a little rambunctious. She would be a great single dog for a nice family. She is crate trained house trained and walks well on a leash. Currently we are working on her manners. When Dilly has not seen you for more than 1 hour she will bound towards you and jump. She has gotten better over the past week but they say old habits take about 3 months to break so I am just saying she will need ongoing reinforcement. She loves treats and can be easily trained in the right environment. Dilly is looking for someone she can latch onto - she will easily become a velcro dog. Please know that she is a puppy and she needs ongoing training. She will be joy once she has settled with a family that will love her and keep her safe. PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
