DESTINY ~4 months old. Good with older considerate children dogs and cats. GSRA Adopts to residents living in VA NC and SC only. Destiny is a fun loving gal who just wants to be with her people. Destiny is very playful and loves getting outside and playing with the big dog" sneaking up on the old grumpy small dog is also a lot of fun for her. Destiny has met the cats and did not chase. She just wanted to sniff but the cats weren't very accommodating. Poor Destiny got chased by my female cat who did not appreciate being sniffed by a dog! Destiny is doing great with crate training- waking up with everything dry in the morning! She is well on the way to being house trained. Occasionally she will piddle when she is excited to see you and just can't wait to go out. This has greatly improved since her arrival.Destiny will bark and whine for a couple of minutes after she has been put in her crate. Destiny knows how to sit and wait for her food and when you are putting her leash on her to go out. We are also working on leash training with her. Destiny is very smart and a quick learner. She does have very long legs and big feet so I think that she is going to be a good sized girl when full grown. Destiny does like to try and counter surf if she thinks she can get away with it. She will wait until you turn your back before taking a peek at what smells so good up there! This also has improved now that she is learning food will come on a regular basis. She will try and steal the other dogs food. My small dog told her no and she quit going after his food but my other dog thinks it's ok to share. Destiny only chews on her toys. She has not chewed on people or shoes since her arrival here. If you are looking for a loving little girl who will steal your heart with those big brown eyes then Destiny is your girl. It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years. "
