I've found my furever family!

DARCY ~1 year old. Good with kids and large dogs. Good with mellow dog savvy cats.GSRA Adopts in NC SC & VA ONLYHello ... my name is Darcy! I am a 1 year old female GSD-mix. I am spayed healthy happy and full of energy ~ of course I am a puppy! I am a beautiful petite GSD with a little something added to the gene pool something special but we're just not sure what. We do know that whatever it is it provides me with the super-power to jump and climb. Therefore a 6' privacy fence will be best for me so climbing and jumping is not so easy and I shouldn't be left unattended outside. At my foster Mom's house when I'm in the backyard and I want to go inside (I like to be with my family) I easily jump the 5' vinyl fence run around to the garage and "knock" on the kitchen door. If I am not let inside right away I run to the neighbor's house to play with their children. I have not tried to run away&hellip...yet.Other than my ability to escape my Foster Mom says I am a great pup. I get along very well with Mom's three adult female GSDs and I just LOVE to play with my foster siblings. I would like to have a playmate but I like to play fast and rough so I need a young friend that also likes that kind of play. I would be happy as an only dog if there is a human home more often than not and is willing to provide significant exercise training love and affection.My foster Mom says I do well with mellow dog savvy cats!! And I could be good with small dogs although I do tend to play a little rough.My lovely warm brown eyes are something you will notice immediately and will melt your heart! Sooooo do you think a beautiful young girl like me is one you'd like to make a member of your family ???Oh wait ! Foster Mom says I must admit a few things&hellip&hellipI am crate trained but I do not like to be in the crate and can be vocal about it. I whine and bark sometimes. When alone during the day and overnight I stay in the crate and only make little attempts to get out. I really like to be with my humans! I also like to sleep on the furniture and Mom's bed :) I need to learn to walk better when on leash but I can learn that with a little training. I'd love to go to training classes I am smart you know! I ride very nicely in our SUV and that is a good thing Mom says.
