I've found my furever family!

BROOKLYN ~4 months old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD. GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only Brooklyn came into GSRA with a sibling Harlem. The two girls were surrendered because their previous owner was going into Hospice care. Initially very shy and afraid of any new person the girls would feed off each other's insecurities so it was determined it would be better if they were separated into different foster homes. Brooklyn remained with me and she has blossomed into a confident playful little gal. She is still cautious of new people but she is making huge strides in her socialization skills. She absolutely loves all dogs and engages them in play. She is crate trained and loves sleeping in her crate (AKA SHE SHED) at night. Brooklyn enjoys forging through the woods for sticks and debris she can claim as a toy. She loves riding in the jeep while we try to spot farm animals in the pastures along the road. Brooklyn does not walk well yet on a leash. We are working on her skills and she is slowly making progress. She is very loving and snuggly and as with many shepherds SUPER SMART! Very treat motivated and will do tricks for treats! We are working on her potty training and she is almostttttt there! It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the Age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
