(1 yr old) Good with dogs and older considerate children. Cats TBD. Breed experience needed.Hey there!! My name is Bonsai and I am here to tell you that great things come in small packages!! You see my name is Bonsai for a reason - I am a very pretty and petite girl...I only weigh 21-30 Pounds. I have a solid black coat and am exceptionally soft. I look like a shepherd and act like a shepherd but am just super compact. (Let's just say Shepherd Lite!!") I am super friendly and absolutely love everybody! I am a very happy girl and am always prancing around and wagging my tail. I love attention and will eagerly follow you around everywhere and shower you with kisses. I am currently living with several "traditional" sized shepherds and I do just fine with them. There are two that I really like to play with...we have a blast racing around the yard. They try to catch me but can't. I am quite quick and low to the ground and can corner like a wide receiver!! I am also crate trained and ho usebroken. It took me a while to figure out the "leash" but I am doing very well with it now. I am extremely food motivated and will try to do what you want if it earns me a treat. If you are looking for a fun loving and enthusiastic addition to your family please come meet me. I promise to shower you with love and keep you smiling with my exceptional personality. From foster mom: Bonsai is just the most delightful little dog. Everyone that meets her walks away smiling since she radiates such a high level of happiness. We are not quite sure why she is so small she could be a dwarf shepherd or could have a bit of something else in the woodpile! Bonsai is about 1 year old so she is about at her full size. Bonsai has very intense eyes and will stare at you as if trying to understand what you want to do next. She is very attentive. She is fairly well behaved for the most part although she does have a habit of trying to jump up on you for attention. Bonsai does very well with the resident dogs and adores all people. Sadly even at her young age Bonsai is HW positive. She will be receiving HW treatment in the middle of December and will be available by the middle to end of January. Come meet Bonsai soon. She is such a sweet little dog she is sure to steal many hearts!!"
