Meet Beau – A Gentle Soul Searching for a Fresh Start
Beau is a gentle, shy pup who’s just beginning to discover the finer things in life—and he’s loving it more each day! Once he feels safe, he opens up quickly and shows off his sweet personality, complete with an adorable head tilt for all the new sounds around him.
Beau is crate trained and finds comfort in his crate, where he likes to collect his favorite toys—and occasionally a household item or two. Don’t worry, he doesn’t chew them; he’s simply keeping them “safe” in his treasure trove.
He’s making great progress with house training, leash walking, and learning basic manners. Walks are a favorite part of his day, especially when there are squirrels to watch! He’s shown interest toward feral neighborhood cats so we're not sure how he'd do with a cat in the house.
Beau is gentle with treats, shows no food aggression, and handled an encounter with a loose dog with calm curiosity. He’s also a bit of a velcro dog—he loves staying close and soaking up affection.
Smart, sweet, and stunning, Beau is ready to continue his journey with a patient, loving family who will help him grow into the amazing dog he’s meant to be.
