I've found my furever family!

KEKOA ~8 months old. Good with dogs and older consideratekids. Cats TBD.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only. Kekoa had a really rough start in life and was brought into GSRA after being found with his brother. Kekoa was not able to walk and after exam it was discovered that he had multiple pelvis and leg fractures which required him to be on full crate rest for several months while the fractures healed. Fast forward 5 months and he's is a fun loving boy who gets along with all dogs large and small. He's somewhat submissive to more dominant dogs. He's an excellent car rider and a good leash walker. He's crate and house trained. He loves a good game of chase but can also settle and chew on a prized stick. He loves cooling off in the water. If you're looking for a hiking companion then Kekoa would love to meet you. Kekoa would do best with a playful friend in his forever home or the availability for frequent play dates. PLEASE NOTE: It is GSRA policy that we do not adopt dogs under the age of 1 year to families with children under the age of 8 years old.
