Bear lives in the moment and makes the most of every second. His joy for life and having a good time is contagious. He will put a smile on your face, make you laugh at his silly antics and melt your heart with those deep soulful eyes. He brings a lot of young energy and is still very puppy-like, however he can settle down after getting his energy out throughout the day. Sometimes he will exhaust himself on his own by throwing and chasing pinecones during mini spaz attacks and he will never say no to a good leash walk. He is a dream to walk as he rarely pulls unless he wants to get to another dog to say "hi" or sees wildlife.

- Every day is a new adventure and full of fun for this silly boy.
- His foster mom has him going through “Basic Manners 101” to learn how to sit, leave it/drop it, off, etc. Continued guidance with corrections will be essential as his spurts of current puppy-like excitement make him forget proper behavior.
- His bark is strong but after asserting himself he settles down when the coast is clear.
- Stuffies have no chance with Bear as he is a proven soft toy killa. Hard, filled bones are his fave and can occupy him well along with more durable toys like ropes.
- Chief Inspector is his unofficial title as his nose goes to the ground and nothing gets by him on walks or around the home.
- Catching flies is a fun side gig for Bear.
- This boy wants to hop into any car - he loves going for rides!
- Bear will race you to his crate for snacks and meals and also feels cozy in them during bedtime. After he learns not to jump up on beds he will likely do great sleeping out of the crate.
Bear has proven to get along beautifully with all dogs on leash big or small and now plays with his big foster sibling dogs in a large fenced yard. He mostly chases but tumbles with them every now and then too. If you have a dog that likes their space he may need a little coaching to not hover near them as he does check-in on everyone frequently by sticking his big, sweet face in theirs. This beautiful kid, inside and out, will be an amazing addition to one lucky family.
