I've found my furever family!

BAILEY ~6 months to 1 year. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Cats TBD. Needs a companion animal.GSRA Adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Hello hello hello!! It's the fun and fantastic Bailey checking in! I am a recent addition to the rescue and am eager to find my new forever home.First a few of the basics: I was picked up as a stray I was running at large with another dog. Girls just want to have fun and explore...the shelter was not in agreement with my mindset. I was very friendly and well behaved during my incarceration. The fine folks at the shelter reached out to the rescue on my behalf.I am a young dog...somewhere between 8 months to a year. I am a stocky girl with a rather thick and soft coat. I am super friendly and sweet. I am about 41-50 Pounds. I have the helicopter ears---they kind of drift off to the sides instead of standing up. They are trying so hard so foster mom says they may still end up standing but no guarantees! I am cute as a button with my wonky ears! My foster mom says I am like the Walmart greeter...I have yet to meet a stranger! I love everybody! I am very eager for attention and I am very affectionate! I love to stay close to my people and will follow you all around the house.I love other dogs! I just want to play! I need to learn some restraint...I love to just run up to new dogs and lick them in the face and try to get them to play. Foster mom says I am very puppyish in my behaviors. I get the zoomies too and will race back and forth in the yard! I am crate trained housebroken (mostly) and ride well in the car! I say mostly housebroken---I can hold it for several hours but I need to be let out every 5-6 hours...I am getting better about holding it overnight as well!My ideal home will be with a family that will spend time playing with me and also be committed to working with me on training. I have a lot of enthusiasm and am very food motivated! I need to learn some commands so that I will mature into a well balanced girl. I would really like a companion dog to play with!Everybody that has met me has nothing but compliments on my sweet disposition! Please come and meet me soon!
