I've found my furever family!

~5 years old. Good with kids and large dogs. Not good with cats or small dogs.Hi I'm Avery! I'm about 5 years old and was found as a stray. I am a very sweet mellow gal who loves belly rubs. One of my favorite things to do is go for car rides. Don't leave your car door open or I might just jump in! I am crate trained but also am fine being left out of my kennel as I am house broken and don't tear things up. I do like stuffed toys though even if they don't belong to me. I've obviously been around kids and love them. The kids at my foster home love to crawl on me and lay on my back. Sometimes I decide I've had enough kid play so I just get up and move. Even though I am great with kids I do not like cats and cannot be trusted with one. I am interested in small dogs but my foster mom isn't sure what the interest means.I know basic commands like sit stay and down. However I do talk back if you ask me to wait for my food. I will do it but I just talk about it! I'm not very talkative but I have been known to bark at some people. I will speak if you want me to though! I'm working on walking better on a leash. I walk well but I want to investigate everything. I like to play but spend most of my time curled up on my dog bed. I'm used to being on the furniture so we are working on that. My foster mom thinks I'm a perfect dog and will be the perfect addition to any family. Don't you think so?
