ATREUS ~1 year old. Good with older considerate children dogs of all sizes and dog-savvy cats. Needs a companion animal.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyIs your current dog wearing you out? Do you long to spend some of your relaxation time actually relaxing?Well let me introduce you to Atreus. This guy is guaranteed to keep your medium/large dog entertained and exercised on a daily basis. Atreus is himself an energeticguy who loves to chase wrestle and play. As long as his canine companion can keep up with him he could care less if they are boys girls sheppies or some other breed. Atreus doesn't discriminate on size either though a dog that won't be hurt by Atreaus' size and enthusiastic play style is a must. Atreus spent the first half of his life stuck in a small yard with little to no interaction with people. As a result when he first came to GSRA his socialskills were quite lacking. However thanks to his dedicated foster Mom and lots of outings to a busy downtown area Atreus has started to blossom into a happy guy who is learning the joys of being out and about with his family. He probably won't ever be a social butterfly but he can now handle being on busy streets with people dogs and other distractions near by. That said he also LOVES going hiking where there are fewer people but just as many interesting smells to enjoy. Atreus is good with older children dog-savvy cats and other dogs of all sizes and personalities. However he needs at least one playful canine companion his size as he LOVES to wrestle and rough-house with his doggie friends. Atreusloves to be outside (where he will carry his tire around and entice other dogs to play with him) and so needs a fenced yard to run in. He's not a climber so any height fence will do.Atreus is crate trained house trained a good car rider and an excellent leash walker - ask him to heal and he will be right by your side allow him the full length of the leash and he will still keep it loose and not drag you down the street. Atreus is 15 months old and is still filling out his adult body (hence why he needs at least one dog his size to play with). He is tall dark and handsome and turns heads when people see him out and about. Do you think your current dog would like Atreus as a playmate???ATREUS MUST HAVE A FENCED YARD AND MEDIUM/HIGH ENERGY COMPANION
