ARCHER ~2 years old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Needs a companion animal. Not good with small dogs. Not good with cats.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC onlyArcher is an overgrown underfed toddler! He has a BIG frame with ribs and hip bones sticking out (we are working on this!)! He has the brain of a puppy who just wants love in an exuberant energetic way! A great big skinny baby right?!Archer came to me stinky with a runny nose and an ear infection so bad they thought he had floppy ears(he DOESN'T). He was a 70# walking skeleton with absolutely no manners but he has a sweet kind spirit! He's such a joyful boy!Archer was recently bathed(!) neutered microchipped. He's house/crate trained and loves and plays with all the other dogs in the house. Archer wants to chase and bark at cats so no cats need apply. Archer is high energy so he needs a play buddy that can keep up with and not beat up on this sweet soul who has gone thru enough in a short amount of time. He likes to ride in the car but I recommend a crate in the car. He shredded the transporters dog bed in her car! Oopsie! Sorry Andrea! He needs a 6 foot fence to contain all his energy!Children hmm they need to be big enough and confident enough to defend themselves from his boisterous kisses! Seriously. His body and tail are a lot for adults to deal with. He could knock one over and hurt them with his enthusiasm no aggression. His adopters need to have the time and make the commitment to his training. Archer will need time and patience to grow into the best sheppie he can be. No invisible fences or shock collars for this sweetie. He needs a leader not someone to dominate him. A gentle but firm patient leader would make Archer a fabulous companion! He's extremely loyal!
