I've found my furever family!

ABBY ~3-4 years old. Good with older considerate children and dogs. Good for seniors/elderly. Apartment appropriate. Not good with cats or small dogs.GSRA adopts to residents of VA NC and SC only.Hi my name is Abby and I was picked up as a stray and ended up in the shelter. The shelter people were very nice and helped me get into rescue. I can now sleep on a soft bed and have regular meals. If you are looking for a lap warmer then I'm the girl for you.Abby's Foster mom:Abby is a super friendly girl and seems to like all people. She is house trained crate trained but is not destructive and can safely have free roam in the house. She is a good car rider and good leash walker. At this time Abby has moderate energy she still needs to complete heart worm treatment and her energy level may change when she becomes healthy. Abby has a typical female personality and likes to try and be in charge. She is not safe for small animals. You could not find a more loving snuggly girl than Abby. I think she would do best as an only dog
