Looking for a new home for my Sadie. She was born in December 2023. She’s a sweet, smart, and loving girl. I’ve had her since she was about 8 weeks old. She is well behaved off leash and isn’t scared of loud sudden noises. She’s a great traveler both in the car and on airplanes (she goes under the seat in front of me). She is fully potty trained and is crate trained. She’s great with kids. She lets you do whatever grooming things necessary (nail trims etc. with no fussing). She also doesn’t mind if you need to force pills and knows the command open wide.
The reason why I need to find her another home is because she is small dog aggressive mainly in house but not so much in public (especially around her heat cycle). She tolerates bigger dogs but would probably be better in a house with no other dogs. My wife and I have had German shepherds for about 12 years and I was really hoping that she would get over it.
She knows basic commands (sit, stay, down, come, paw) and is great on runs (she goes off leash and doesn’t get in the way or try to cut you off. She’s great in restaurants and crowded areas. I really wish that I didn’t have to make this post, but it is not fair to our dachshund that we have.
